Welcome to St. Andrew’s Church School!
For ages 2
and up. . .
For children ages 2 through Grade 5, we offer the "Living the Good News" curriculum, which follows the Episcopal lectionary. The children are grouped by age and receive instruction appropriate to their ages from 9:15am--9:55am each Sunday morning. "Living the Good News" is a learner-centered curriculum and aims to engage "the gifts, goals and learning style of every child." For kids in Grades 6/7 and above, please visit our Teens page for more details on the programs we offer.
In addition to instruction time, there are events throughout the Church School year that bring the children together for fun and fellowship.
The children also participate
in several outreach opportunities throughout the year. For
example, they make gifts for recipients of Meals-on-Wheels, walk
in the Crop Walk, and collect school supplies for children in Africa.
The standards provide norms for supervision, discipline and content of children's and youth programs at St. Andrew's. Also included are policies on movies, transportation to youth events, and the minimum age for drivers and leaders.
