Coffee Hour Formation Forum

The Coffee Hour Formation Forum gathers periodically after the 10:00 am service to offer learning, reflection, and fellowship. We explore topics of faith, spirituality, and community life in a welcoming and thoughtful environment. All are welcome.

Walking in the Word

Adult Bible study at St. Andrew’s offers a welcoming space to grow in faith, deepen understanding of Scripture, and walk alongside others in Christian community. Together, we explore God’s Word with joy, supporting one another in life and discipleship.

Please see our current and recent offerings below.

Community Conversations

St. Andrew's invites all ages to explore the intersection of faith, justice, and spiritual growth through our periodic Community Conversations. These events encourage discussion and reflection about race, gender, equity, and belonging, all grounded in the Gospel's call to love.

Below are a few recent Community Conversation events:

St. Andrew's Advent Adventure

A Nighttime Walk in the Woods with the Prophets and a Christmas Spirit Celebration

St. Andrew’s Advent Adventure invites the community to experience the Serenity Trail and Outdoor Chapel in a whole new way—by night. Along the trail, guests encounter figures like Abraham, Jesse, Nathan, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Archangel Gabriel, each sharing how their stories connect to the coming of Christ. The journey concludes with a joyful Christmas celebration and holiday sing-along in Farmer Hall.

The Witness Stones Project

Recognition of Cate, with art, music and poetry

The Witness Stones Project is a Connecticut-based nonprofit that uncovers and shares the personal histories of enslaved individuals who shaped local communities, installing commemorative plaques at sites where they lived, worked, or worshiped. St. Andrew's partnered with the John Deacon Grave House to research, remember and honor Cate, an enslaved woman, in the place where she lived and worked in the hope of catalyzing empathy, healing and justice.

Sacred Ground

Racial Justice, Healing and Reconciliation

Over the course of a year, St. Andrew’s led two cohorts through the 11-session Sacred Ground curriculum on racial justice, healing, and reconciliation. Through honest dialogue, shared learning, and spiritual reflection, participants explored the realities of racism and the hope of healing. The experience fostered community, deepened understanding, and planted seeds of justice and love.
