We seek to nurture our children with opportunities to learn, serve and gather with creative age-specific programs that honor the sacred role that young people fulfill in our loving community.
Children deepen their faith in Church School through prayer, storytelling, and creative response. We offer three age groups which flex year to year based on enrollment: preK-3rd grade, 4th-7th grade, Confirmation (8th grade and up). Classes meet at 9:45 am during the school year, alternating between Lesson Sundays, a Fellowship Sunday and a Youth Sunday each month. Children rejoin the congregation for Communion. St. Andrew’s offers age-appropriate formation for youth preparing for Communion and Confirmation, guiding them to encounter Christ and grow in faith and discipleship.
St. Andrew’s Middle School Youth Group is a safe, welcoming space where every student is valued. Whether outgoing or still finding their place, all are invited to grow in faith, form friendships, and serve others in Christ’s love.
On Sunday, September 21, members of St. Andrew’s Youth Group joined youth from other area churches at Camp Washington’s “Youth Group On the Move” event. Set on Camp Washington’s 300-acre campus in the Litchfield Hills, the day was filled with stories, games, music, food, and fellowship—a joyful time of connection in God’s creation.

St. Andrew’s High School Youth Group builds friendships and faith through events, fundraising, and an annual service trip, growing closer to each other and Christ.
Our High School Youth Group spends a week each summer in Maine serving with H.O.M.E., a nonprofit organization supporting low-income families. Youth help with projects like demolition, construction and home repair, and they host a community dinner for H.O.M.E. clients. The week also includes fun activities like swimming, mini golf, a steel band concert, and visits to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Many return each year, building friendships and a heart for service.
